Loving Pediatric Medicine – the anti-rant

Reason Number 3:  My day is made when a patient, parent or both has a light (sometimes it’s just a glimmer sometimes it’s tears) of recognition that my advice or reasoning resonates with them.

  1. as a new pediatrician and mother of two, i am still basking in all of these things you are listing. i have not been in practice long enough to feel burned out, and i am just so happy to finally be out of residency and have these moments that you are describing! keep em coming!

    • Thank you for the blog-love! I’ve been in practice for almost 15 years, and writing these “loves” down really helps me see the silver lining in what I do.
