Loving Pediatric Medicine – the anti-rant

Reason Number 9:  Information gathering.  My office is controlled clutter.  Books, torn journal articles, samples, games litter most surfaces of the 7′ by 5′ space.  The clutter oozes into clinical space, too, and each quarter, my staff reigns me in with a mandatory dump day.

I am an information junkie, and I love to share.  My husband doesn’t know why I keep all of these bits and pieces, but I do.  If a parent or patient needs the Ulesfia pamphlet or teethifier website or pediatric pulmologist’s business card, I want to produce it for them.  A good day is stumbling upon a new product or service that is pediatric oriented, and turning around to share it with a patient in need.

  1. Hello:
I started a project ten years ago to develop my ideas to improve patient care. I am searching for help to develop them clinically. The silence is disheartening.
I hope that you would be kind enough to read about these ideas on my Blog at:

    Thanks for your kindness.
